Epson i1600 Printheads

Precision Core Technology.
Epson printheads use thin-film piezoelectric elements with 600 nozzles per channel, arranged in two rows. This arrangement increases print speed by increasing the area covered per unit of time. The unique nozzle shape (Epson MEMS) ensures precise and consistent placement of ink droplets on the substrate.

Variable Size Droplet Technology.
Variable Size Droplet Technology not only significantly expands the range of primary colors, allowing for printing in a wider color range, but also significantly improves opacity, enabling the printing of virtually opaque spot colors.

The staggered printhead arrangement in the UV printer allows for simultaneous printing of white, CMYK colors, and varnish in a single pass.
